This blog is an exploration of my progress over the 2010 semester in my English 106 class. The site will be a representation of the skills that I learn over the course of the semester by completing assignments. This particular English 106 class focuses on developing thought processes and on communication skills which might help the student when they apply for a job. The Pages for the site can be found above and clicking on each one will take you to that specific page.
Assignments will teach the skills to critically read and analyze literature. I will put together skills that I have learned as a result of the assignments as well. Also to be able to process and relate my ideas onto the page and convey to members of my peers my thoughts. This contributes to the fact that I will use the skills in this course to help me conduct intellectual thought and the relation of it. I hope that this course will contribute many researching skills that I have lacked in the past and different ways of formatting research for presentations. I also hope to learn many new skills on understanding other cultures and the significance of their impact on relations between people. This will bring in a greater understanding of how to get along with others and on how to see things from a different perspective other than my “American eyes”.
I will also reserve a page for my poetry writings either from the past or thought up on the spot. Feel free to leave comments! Critism is always important for the structure of learning!!

I particularly like the 2nd paragraph where you laid down what you will be doing. They are like your expectations, which are very nicely put.
If you intend to use this as the intro to the class as a whole, I would like to suggest you expand the first paragraph. I want to see whether you have noticed what is unique about this section of 106. I taught 106 quite a few times, but this time I have a special focus. I have set down some specific goals, especially reflected through the assignments.
A minor point. I like the picture you have on this page, since your project is on whether interaction between animals and humans increase animal intelligence or not.
What happened when you inserted the pic? There is half a line preceding the photo. It might be better to drag that half a line downward to stay with the rest of the lines under the picture.
Also, the Home page should be by default your index page. But sometimes things become weird, so you can use this “About” page as the index page. You might say a few pointers to guide your reader through your website.

I like the layout. Very simple and straight to the point but with with a sort of personality with the image.
Table of Contents could use some work obviously and the poetry and thoughts section has me intrequed.
